PCB Materials
In order to help our clients lower product prices, we often source our PCBs’ raw laminates locally. In spite of this, we recognize that your designs may have been created with a certain material in mind in order to meet signal integrity and HDI PCB criteria, and we will thus accommodate your PCB material choices. On request, we utilize North American materials such as Isola 370HR, FR408HR, etc. to meet your engineering needs. We maintain a strong inventory of all commonly used materials, and as long as we have your material of choice in stock, it will typically not influence the efficiency of our PCB Assembly Process.

When we employ substitute materials, we make sure they are of the highest quality (based on material availability). We try to stay away from low-quality materials. Yingstar Electronics uses materials that are the most similar to those found in North America.
Our material selection philosophy is outlined in the graph below. It demonstrates how we replace materials and the variances in material requirements according to published data sheets.
We will collaborate with you to design your PCB Stack-Up. We will do impedance calculations both during the design and production stages. Upon request, we will supply stack-ups with various materials, including Impedance Control, to demonstrate the influence that different materials have on impedance.
Our engineering staff collaborates with our PCB manufacturing facilities to communicate any material-related issue or concern to you at all times as part of Yingstar’s client-focused Customer Service philosophy. Our engineering team is highly skilled and knowledgeable in CAM, techniques engineering, and process engineering.
